New MegaIce Practice Guidelines |
Thank you everyone for a great turnout yesterday. Coach Beck sure had the star power yesterday as we had 53 people turn out for practice!
Due to the popularity of the practice, we will need to implement new guidelines in order to maximize the time on ice. Starting next practice, July 17, 2007 the following rules will be in effect: |
| |
| |
1. |
All players attending practice must wear an Entry Pass while on ice. WIHO will supply string for you to loop it around your equipment or wear around your neck. Monthly package subscribers must wear their entry passes and drop-ins and non-package players will be supplied a tag for that day once payment is received. |
| |
2. |
Do not enter the ice until a WIHO Committee Member checks your Entry Pass is valid. Doing so may void your privileges for the session. So please wait before stepping out.
| |
3. |
35-50 skaters will be allowed for the first session. We will strictly limit the number of skaters for the second session to 40. As a reminder, the second session is only available to intermediate and advanced players.
Priority for ice time is given in the following order:
1. WIHO Members who purchase a Quarterly or Monthly Pass
2. WIHO Members who have a reservation for ice time
3. WIHO Members who drop-in
4. Drop-ins
*Please note, if you reserve a spot and do not show up, you may be banned from reserving a spot next time.
| |
4. |
Space is limited for each practice so please purchase a pass or reserve an ice time. Drop-ins may be denied access if there are too many people attending.
| |
.5. |
How do I know how many spots are available? Check under "Remaining Spots" under the Schedule Heading of the Home Page. WIHO has listed the remaining spots for each session. The remaining spots will be updated every Sunday evening. If there are spots available, please email or call Becky Chin to reserve: beckychinchin@hotmail.com or 9048-3779.
*Please note, priority is given to players who reserve an ice time (see point #3).

Thank you all for understanding.

WIHO is excited to announce that former New York Ranger's captain (1981-1986), Barry "Bubba" Beck, will be running Tuesday night practices in July and August!
This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is arranged by WIHO's long-time partner and supporter, the Hong Kong Amateur Hockey Club (HKAHC) for which we are eternally grateful for. Coach Barry will also be running training sessions for the Hong Kong Academy of Ice Hockey (HKAIH) out of the Dragon Center Skyrink on Sunday nights..Headline Story. |
